Whisper Radio Signal Groups
If you have trouble getting into a signal group then message me on Signal and ask for a direct invite.
ICE Sightings- Whisper Radio is used to report ICE sightings in the 4-corners area. This group DOES NOT replace the Rapid Response Network. Always report to the Rapid Response Network first. No discussions or planning should take place on this group. Just post the time, date, and location of the sighting and your level of confidence that it's an ICE sighting.
Events - Whisper Radio is dedicated to announcing events in the 4-corners area. This signal group is not for planning or discussing, just announcing.
News and Discussion - Whisper Radio is for discussing, planning, networking, and all of that jazz.
Whisper Radio Email Group (below) is only used to announce workshops or events put on by Whisper Radio. I (JoAnn) have no desire to duplicate the work of Indivisible Durango or the many other great newsletters in the area.
Karen Pontius with Indivisible Durango maintains the best calendar of events and their newsletter is succinct and comprehensive.
Civil Disobedience Workshop
for Southwest Colorado
This workshop examines civil disobedience as a disciplined practice rather than a spontaneous reaction.
Drawing on historical case studies and modern movements, participants explore how organized, strategic action differs from expressive action, and why structure, boundaries, and preparation matter when pressure is high.
The first workshop was held on January 24, 2026. Planning is underway for a second session. If you would like to be notified when the next workshop is scheduled, please sign up for the mailing list.
